Rick and Sharyn's little bundle of Joy!!!

Well we found out that Rick and Sharyn are expecting a baby boy. We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet him. I don't want to give away too much so be sure to click on the link to their blog to the right of the page and I'm sure it won't be long and they'll have plenty posted on it.

Rick goes in for another dose of radiation tomorrow so all of you keep him in your prayers. God continues to work miracles and Ricks cancer is no exception.

John Weis B-day

We met with John and Kyla Weis last Wednesday, August 1st to celebrate John's 29th Birthday, one more year John and it's the big 3-0!!!!

We love getting together with them, which unfortunatley is often far between. They are just like family to us, we can talk about anything and just hang out and feel comfortable. We met them at Chili's in the big city of Kilgore. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, not too bad when we go there but when we were leaving it was like Salmon swimming up stream. Kyler did pretty good, got a little restless there towards the end but that's what little ones do at that age.

We are so blessed to have such great friends and we look forward to seeing them again real soon.

Happy 4th of July 2007....

Well July 4th has come and gone and we had a blast. It was a wet one, which it has been for several weeks now. I guess we can't complain too much, it would have been a miserable 4th if we would have been in the 100's and dry. This year was Kyler's first fireworks display, and he was just amazed by it. Below are some videos of our time at the Longview Fairgrounds on Tuesday night, July 3rd.

It seemed to take forever for the show to begin, it just got later and later, but that didn't stop our fun. The first two videos are of our two new Jedi's. Kyler and Paw-Paw. The last video is of Kyler watching the firework display.

Mission Completion.....

Well it's been a long trip, but the bus has finally come to a stop. Dale, Rick and I finished up the closet this weekend. Last weekend we got the frame up and the sheet rock. During the evenings of last week I applied the primer in the new Master Bedroom, and applied the texture paint. Friday Rick and Dale came over and we put up the closet rods with shelf, frame around the door, base boards, and Rick did an awesome job of painting the wall between the kitchen and the new bedroom, so all I had to do was texture it. All we have to do now is add doors and we'll be 100%. It's just totally amazing, even to me, how it turned out. It's hard to believe that our Master Bedroom used to be the living room. When you walk into it, you just can't picture it being anything else than a bedroom now. The wall between the kitchen and bedroom, where the other entrance to the Living room used to be is great. You can't even tell there used to be a door there, it looks and feels like it's always been that way.

Ya'll should all really come and see for yourselves, you would be amazed.
