The Royal Flush...

Kyler is really taking to potty training. During the day he has been wearing big boy underwear since Sunday morning, and is now going to the potty to take care of business on his own when he feels the need (both #1 and #2).

We are so proud of you Kyler, you are such a big boy. Keep up the good work little man.

Love,

Mommy and Daddy

Play Ball.....

The Boys got to go to their first Baseball Game on Friday night. It was the Kilgore Pumpjacks vs. the Coppell Copperheads. They really enjoyed it, we stayed thru the top of the 6th and they were ready to go home.

It was a sort of boys night out, John Weis scored us some tickets from the bank (Citizens Bank night out at the Ballpark), and his brother James met up with us. They boys just love them to death and had a great time with them. Thank you John for the tickets and thanks to James for being so great with the boys....I know you were worn out from the day, but you sure kept them entertained.

Lisa and I are taking them back to another game next Friday, we'll make sure to get some pictures posted from that one.

Go Pumpjacks...so far they are still in first place in the collegiate teams, hopefully they can stay that way.

New Addition!

We have recently decided to add to the family. Saturday Todd and the boys went and adopted Cowboy Jack. He is a Heeler mix puppy. We just love him and the boys have so much fun with him. The boys have been asking for another pet for a while now. Todd and I have talked it over and thought about different ones. We contacted an animal rescue agency and they let us know about Jack. He has been started on his shots, neutered and wormed. So a lot of the work has been done for us. We really think that he is a great addition to the family. Enjoy the pictures of him, I'm sure there will be more to come.

Excellent Report...

Well we are back from Houston and the report was excellent. Kyler's foot looks great, not issues and we won't have to take him back until he's 5 years old. The doctor will want to keep an eye on it as he matures, just to make sure that the length of the leg stays good. Evidently club foot affects the leg as well, so Kyler's leg will be about 2cm shorter than the other, and his shoe size for that foot will be about a 1/2 size smaller. As far as it looks right now no correction will be needed, so we'll take him back every 2 years or so as he grows just to make sure everything stays on target.

So thank all of ya'll for your prayers and good thoughts during this week. God continues to bless us.

10 Wonderful Years....

10 Years Sticking together, what a wonderful life. (Get it...sticking together, stick men... :) )
Wow!!! Where does the time go. It's hard to believe it's been 10 YEARS!!! Happy 10th Anniversay sweetheart. I know many of you that are reading this blog are going...wait, the date states Thursday May 21st, don't they know they got married on May 22nd....we'll did we? or were we actually married May 21st and just had one great party for everyone on May 22nd....have to catch up with us one day and we'll tell ya for sure.
Happy Anniversary Sweetheart, it's been a wonderful ride so far....a quick ride, but a wonderful one. I'm looking forward to the next 10 years, and the next 10 years after that, and the next 10 years after that, and the next 10 years after that.....OK, you get the point.
I sure Love You and am so thankful everyday that God brought you into my life. We've built a wonderful life and an awesome family together. You are my soul mate, my best friend, my rock, my love, my life. Thank you for just being you and loving me with my flaw (thought I was gonna say flaws didn't ya....but I can only think of one). :)
I sure do love you and am so thankful to be at this point in our lives, such a milestone in our relationship, such a great marker to be able to stop and think back on our life together. We've had some wonderful moments together, and I'm so excited to think what lies ahead. So to end this blog I have to leave you with some words from one of our favorite songs....
"I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want,
So tell me what you want, what you really really want,
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna,
I wanna really really really wanna zigazig ha.
If you wanna be my lover,
you gotta get with my friends,
Make it last forever friendship never ends....."
El Chico was never the same after that, and neither were we. :)
Love You.
-Todd
