Coupon Crazy!!

I was really thinking that it wasn't going to help cutting coupons. Well with doing that and comparison shopping I saved near $15 off my grocery bill. And it was items I normally buy. So it isn't like I bought the item just because I had a coupon. So I'm even more inspired to look for good deals. It is a fun challange! If you guys have any ideas let me know.

Mud Pies

I had so much fun yesterday making mud pies and mud balls with the boys. They were playing in the backyard in some water adding a little dirt. Then I thought we should make mud pies. As I was showing them how to make them I realized how blessed I am. I'm getting to show my children how to play with mud. It may sound silly but think about it. They have never made mud pies. I remember doing that every summer at my grandmother's house. Now I can pass that on to them. How great is that to show your children how to do something. I forget from day to day that we are teaching them life. I get so worried about them being able to read, write and count that I forgot some fundamentals are just that "Fun"!

It is scary to think about how myself and Todd are molding these little boys for manhood. It really make me watch my steps. They are such a wonderful blessing. I'm so thankful to God for getting to be a mother. I have experienced so much joy since having children that I have felt as though my heart could burst.

I pray who ever reads this remembers the simple things are the most important.

Great Time...

We had a great weekend with Shaun's birthday party on Saturday and then his birthday on Sunday. What a wonderful weekend to just celebrate Shaun. Pictures coming soon.
