Times change...

Well my oldest brother is about to pack up and move up north to Chicago land. Sure he'll have the best Hot Dogs in the world, and 2 MLB teams to choose from, but it's still gonna be hard not having him here. I haven't seen a lot of him and his family lately, and that's my fault, you get spoiled when family is close by. Rick, Mark, and I have always been very close and enjoy hanging out every chance we get, but it's gotten harder to do that now with Mark 7.5 hours west, and now Rick 14 hours North.

Guess this means more road trips in the future. Anyone who knows me knows I Love Road Trips. The cousins are close to one another, and I don't want that to fade at all. I was close to some of my cousins growing up, but not as close as I'd like to have been, so I don't want my kiddo's ever fading away from their cousins, they will have many adventures together in the future, and I want that to always be able to come true.

We're sure gonna miss Rick, Sharyn, and Connor but we know God has a great plan ahead for them, and wish them the best. Just make sure to get some real shoes Rick, and get plenty of warm clothes. Also, God forbid it should happen, here's a great site for materials to have in your car for winter travelling just in case you were to get stranded. http://family-travel-safety.suite101.com/article.cfm/winter_car_survival_kit

I guess I'm gonna have to accept that we've become a 9 O'Clock family. 9 O'Clock family, what the deuce is he talkin' about? If I were to look to the north I'd have an older brother directly due North (Well not exactly due North, but North none the less) and my twin brother directly to the west. Thus if I were a clock it'd be 9 O'Clock. So we've become a 9 O'Clock family.

We sure wish ya'll all the best up North, and know we'll always be thinking of ya'll and praying for ya'll. Stay warm this winter, and ya'll have a very Happy Thanksgiving. We sure Love Ya'll. Remember you'll always have a place to stay so feel free to come visit whenever. We'll make accommodations for ya'll anytime. Same goes for ya'll too Midland McElmurry's.

Happy Birthday Sweetheart....

Happy Birthday Lisa, we are so thankful to get to spend this wonderful day celebrating you. You are such a wonderful wife and a great mother and we are so glad to be able to celebrate you and let you know how much you mean to us. We hope you have a great Birthday.

Love,

Todd, Kyler, and Shaun

The boys were so excited this year to pick out a present for mommy. I started talking to them about it back in August and from the beginning they knew what they wanted to get her. So I took them to the store, strolled them down several isles to try to see if they might want to get mommy this or that, and they both agreed on the same gift. A "Toy Story" kick ball. They said this way mommy could play catch with them.

As we were picking out cards Kyler said he saw something that mommy needed for her Birthday Party. What he picked out was Disney Princess plates and a table cloth, said it looked "Girly" like mommy.

The boys and I got up this morning and made Lisa French Toast and set the table with her Disney Princess plates and table cloth. That way we were able to start her day off special.

Inside Camping

Since it had been raining so much and Daddy came up with the good idea of putting the tent up in the livingroom. Complete with a campfire.
We had lots of fun. Daddy is so creative!

Roasting marshmallows by the fire.

Even nap time is better in a tent!

Happy Halloween!

We had lots of fun carving pumpkins. The boys helped pull out all of the seeds and Daddy carved the faces. We also baked the seeds and they were really yummy!

The garage is the perfect place to carve.

We found this electric carver.
It seemed to work pretty well.

Todd did a really good job on carving. The big one was named Big Boo and the little ones were named Buga-boo. They looked really good in the fireplace.

We hope that everyone has a really spooktacular time trick or treating!
