We Love you Dalton....

As many of you know our friends Mike and Heidi Gibson's baby boy Dalton went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 25th, 2009. Dalton was born with a disease called Krabbe Disease, which affects 1 in every 100,000 babies born. Dalton is a very precious baby and will be greatly missed on this earth. Please take time to prary for the Gibson family (Mike, Heidi, and Big Brother Aaron) as they go thru this time of loss and heartache.

We Love Ya'll so much and are so sorry for the pain you are going thru. We know God has made Dalton perfect but it's still hard not to have him here with us. We'll all be together again one day, but as we go forward here on this earth we know there are no words of comfort and no actions that can make this hurt less. Just know you are not alone and we're here to up lift ya'll and be there for ya'll. We Love Ya'll and will continue to pray for God's comfort in your lives.

We Love You Dalton.

Going Green makes you see Red!!!!

I know we are all filled every day with the constant bull of Go Green, save our planet, and all that other crap. Well it appears that in order to save our planet we have to put or families in jeapordy. What I'm talking about are those stupid energy saving light bulbs, you know the ones I'm talking about, the ones made from curly fries that just twist all around. Well as many of you know these contain Mercury. So they say it's not enough to cause any issues if exposed, but I say Mercury is Mercury....if you have kids or will have kids do not put this crap in your house. Good old light bulbs have always given enough light for me, and that's the way I plan on staying. We have them now, but not for long. Getting off my soap box now. Have a safe and happy day.

Music to my ears!

Shaun made me so proud today. I gave them their snacks this morning and Shaun said "Thank you mama."! How great is that!! I didn't even have to ask him he just did it on his own. I just had to share with everyone!!!

Things to know.

I just want to pass this on, most of you may already know this.

1. If you get a nose bleed take a tampon cut it in half stick it in the bleeding nostril. I tell you I have had nose bleeds most of my life and this worked so well. It is so much better than cramming toilet paper or tissues up it.

2. Peroxide is the best for getting blood out of fabrics. Pour it on the spot and you may need to dab with a cotton ball or paper towel to get it off. But it works. The really weird thing is the spot gets warm once the peroxide is in contact with the blood. If any of you have an explanation for this please tell me.

Now I bet you guys are wondering what brought this wealth of information on. Well last night while sleeping my nose started bleeding. I woke up and it was on the pillow. So in stelth mode I got it all taken care of. And no one woke up. So all is well that ends well.

I know kinda crazy thing to post about but you out there with boys may need this one day.
