Soccer 2010!!

Soccer games start tomorrow. To say I'm excited is an understatement, to say I'm nervous is the understatement of the year. We only had 3 weeks between when the team formed and first game, and our 2nd week practice was rained out, so that means we only had 2 practices before our first official game. I will have to say though, that the boys that were there yesterday for practice caught on quick and are ready to play their hearts out.

If you want a copy of the schedule our Team is the Super Kickers and you can get a PDF of the schedule here: http://www.kilgoresoccer.org/resources/2010+Fall+U-6+Boys+schedule.pdf

I'll post pics as we go along with the season, so expect to see some exciting stuff. Wish us luck
tomorrow.

Go Super Kickers!!!!

Swimming,Swimming....

Kyler started his swimming classes this week. He is really doing good and his instructors are just awesome! He has jumped off the diving board 4 or 5 times. His instructor catches him but we are proud of him for having the courage to do that! We will post pics soon!

....and that's a wrap.

Well T-Ball has officially come to an end for this season. We've had our last game, and boy was it an awesome one. The kid's were firing on all cylinders, and worked together really well to finish off the season on a high note. We had our end of season party on Saturday, a time to let the kids all get together off the field, play together, and a chance to grill some hot dogs and hamburgers.

Tonight is the T-Ball closing ceremony, the teams will be introduced, the kids get a chance to run the bases and receive their participation trophies.

Now we get the summer off from sports and start Soccer for Kyler in the Fall and then both will be playing T-ball come next spring. Kyler will be in a different league next year, so we'll be having games on both sides of town which will be fun to keep up with, but come 2012 both boys will be in the KBBA association and will stay with that league up thru Little League.

I hope they continue enjoying playing sports, cause I really enjoy watching them play and learn to work as a team with other folks.
